A Pair of Limestone Vases
A PAIR OF LIMESTONE VASES (Italian, 19th century) with a square base leading to a ringed collar supporting the vase. The body is decorated in low relief with grotesque masks trailing beribboned garlands of fruits and flowers. The dart carved lid leads to a pine cone finial.
