Pair of Louis XVI Style Giltwood Benches

A pair of Louis XVI style giltwood benches (French, late 19th century). The benches have six fluted and spiraled legs joined by stretchers. They have padded seats with red floral cut velvet upholstery recovered with Louis XIV pattern Scalamandre cut velvet and trims (2007). Originally from the collection at Marble House.
